There is a sentiment that has been important to me from the very first time I picked up a camera: photography freezes a moment in time, forever. This, to me, is the core purpose of image creation and something I carry at the forefront of all my work. We are taking these photos for you to remember these moments, forever.
I believe the photos should revolve around you and not the other way around. The whole reason we photograph these monumental phases of life is to remember them as they were. My job is to create photos that represent who you and your loved ones are. Nothing makes me happier than this.
I want to blend into your day and experience the emotions right alongside you. I want you to forget I'm there, when in reality I'm just a step away, ready to jump in with some guidance if you need me. It's going to be intimate-- you, your love, and your photographer. I make sure that my presence is only a benefit and not a hindrance. This is supposed to be fun after all!
My photography philosophy is to take things as they come. I've been told that I navigate changing environments with ease-- a quality I attribute to my "go with the flow" personality.
If I see a moment, I grab it. You want to try something? We try it. My job is to capture your relationship in the most stress-free way so you can fully enjoy the day.
I often say "Just be who you are!", and that's all we will need. Promise.
